Ship Checklist
From Lessons 22–23. Keep this beside you the moment before you hit publish. If all four boxes are true, it ships. Done beats perfect.
Before you publish

| ☐ | Captions on? | Most watch on mute. On-screen text carries the message. |
| ☐ | One CTA? | Exactly one small ask — follow, save, comment. Not three. |
| ☐ | Maps to a pillar? | Build it · Use it · Ship it · Learn from me. If it fits none, it's a different account's content. |
The gate
That's the whole bar. If those four are true, publish. Not "when I'm proud of it" — when it passes the checklist. Polish comes from volume, not from take #14.
Your first two weeks

After you post
- Post one piece to r/NewTubers for honest peer critique. Ask a specific question ("is the hook clear in 2 seconds?"). Fastest feedback when you have no audience.
- Wait ~48 hours, then check analytics. Read retention, reach, saves — not vanity likes. Give real signal time to build before you judge.
- Feed one insight back into the loop. Turn a single lesson into a better next idea. Idea → Create → Publish → Learn → repeat.
- Keep going. A brand comes from repeating the loop, not from one post. Ship the next batch.
Rule of thumb
You will not study your way to being a creator. Publish imperfect, learn from the numbers, improve on the next one. The developer who ships consistently wins — every time.
